Spencer Smith – JO Champion in 3000M Run.
Spencer Smith of Mississippi Valley Track Club became the second Iowa youth athlete to become a national champion at the 2017 JO meet in Lawrence, Kansas. His winning time of 8:50.08, bettering his time at the Region 8 meet by over 10 seconds.
